Hilary Duff says pregnancy is a wild experience

For Hilary Duff, pregnancy is a new and exciting experience, and shes enjoying every minute of it.

The 24-year-old former Lizzie McGuire actress, who is due to give birth to a baby boy in March 2012, is busy setting up her babys nursery and deciding on a name, but she says everything from cravings, to kicks, to thinking about the future is an exciting and wild experience.

"I think it's such a miracle. I feel so lucky that I've had an easy pregnancy and hope it stays that way, she told E! Online. I think feeling the baby move and getting those little kicksseeing it happen through your shirt or looking at your belly, it's like, wow, there's a life inside of me. It's a piece of my husband and me and it's really wild."

"It's really exciting to think about the future and also a little scarybut so exciting at the same time," she said.

Duff says the pregnancy is not only exciting for her, but her hockey player husband, Mike Comrie, as well. She says theyre both eager to start the next chapter of their lives together as parents.

"We're giddy when we talk about it. We daydream about what our future is going to be like and what our child is going to look like and the little personality it's going to have, she said. I think that's the craziest part."
