Between swaying to the Coachella set list over the weekend and launching her third novel on Tuesday, Hilary Duff keeps a busy schedule.
But after embracing her youthful side in the Californian desert and then putting on her author hat, the 25-year-old was more than thrilled to focus her attention on her true love - her son Luca Cruz.
The former Disney star took her one-year-old to baby class in Sherman Oaks, California, on Wednesday morning.
My son-shine: Hilary Duff beamed as she held her one-year-old son Luca Cruz snugly in her arms on Wednesday morning in Sherman Oaks, California
The mother-son duo looked quite the stylish pair.
Hilary wore skinny grey jeans that showed off her toned, trim legs, the ankle of which she rolled to meet the top of her camel-coloured booties.
A sharp black blazer covered a loose grey T-shirt - an outfit that was ready for business or play.
Keeping a playful vibe with the ensemble, the So Yesterday singer wrapped a skull-print scarf around her neck.
Perfect pouts: The former Disney star and her son share not only the same hair colour but also a plump pout, made clear when Hilary propped her son on her hip
Time for class! The blonde beauty parted with her one-year-old son at his baby class in Sherman Oaks
Aviators protected her face and her flowing blonde hair blew freely with the breeze.
Little Luca rocked a printed white T-shirt, denim trousers and mini red Converse sneakers.
Though Hilary thoroughly enjoyed her morning with her son, she was also coming off an exciting evening - the launch of her third book on Tuesday night.
Super styled: Mother wore business casual and son wore an outfit sure to make him the coolest kid in class
The actress-turned-author beamed as she proudly held up a copy of her tome at Mrs Nelson's Toy & Book Shop in La Verne.
The Lizzie McGuire actress showed off her incredible figure in leather trousers and a black sweater paired with fawn pumps.
A red fedora nestled jauntily on her head.
True is the final installment of Duff's Elixir trilogy.
Radiant: Hilary's trilogy has been a big hit with young fans
Multi-talented: Hilary enjoyed signing copies of her book for her avid readers
The blurb reads: 'Following the harrowing events of Elixir and Devoted - and the ceremony that almost killed Sage - Clea faces a new reality: With Sages soul in Nicos body, the love of her life looks an awful lot like her best friends boyfriend. Can Clea and Sage really be happy under these circumstances?
'Clea wants to try to enjoy their new life together, but Sage is acting different - angry - and she struggles to keep her friends from finding out what has happened to him.
'Something is clearly haunting Sage, and Clea is losing control. Can she trust her friends with the dangerous truth, or will she have to risk losing Sage to madness.'
The star is certainly a proud mother-of-one, constantly seen taking Luca out and about in the Los Angeles area and tweeting about him, often with husband Mike Comrie.
