Hilary Duff already out and about one week after baby

Hilary Duff may have said motherhood is no joke but the 24-year-old isnt having too much trouble getting back into the swing of things and balancing new motherhood with her old routine.

According to Us Weekly, Thursday, Duff, who gave birth to her son Luca Cruz on March 20, was all smiles as she showed off her slim post-baby body in sunglasses skinny leopard print jeans and a loose-fitting blue blouse after she treated herself to a day at the salon to turn her dark locks blonde again.

Just got my hair did from my girl [Riawna Capri] thanks love! I'm feelin fresh," she Tweeted on Thursday, sharing a photo of her new lighter do. "Heading back home to hang with munchkin."

Hilarys first night out after giving birth didnt go so smoothly, though.

"Omg my first outing in a week and I hit [my friend] in the eye with a shrimp tail!" she tweeted earlier this week. "Can't take me anywhere! Lord help me!"

The outing ended on a positive note, however. She even made it home in time to care for her son.

1st outing complete with no tears! she added later on. Made it home early...just in time to feed Luca. figuring this motherhood thing out! Yay! A grown up din;).

Luca Cruz Comrie is Hilary and her husband Mike Comries first child.
