Hilary Duff and husband welcome a baby boy

Lizzie McGuire star Hilary Duff and husband Mike Comrie welcomed a son Tuesday, the actress wrote on her website.
Luca Cruz Comrie weighed in at 7 pounds, 6 ounces. "We are overjoyed and feel like the luckiest parents in the world," she wrote. "He is surrounded by so much love!! Mom and baby are both doing extremely well."

This is the first child for Duff, 24, and Comrie, 31, who married in August 2010.
Comrie, who played professional hockey for 11 years, officially retired from the sport in February after undergoing hip surgery for the third time. Duff was last seen in last year's Stay Cool.
