Hilary Duff talks motherhood, marriage, and whats next
Hilary Duff is enjoying every second of being a new mom. The 24-year-old gave birth to her son Luca in March and says being a mom is an incredible experience.
"There's really no words to describe it," she told E! News. "It's the most incredible thing every day. It softens you so much. I feel like a big mushy ball."
Most of her time is dedicated to being a mom, but she says she makes sure to take time to spend with her husband Mike Comrie, who is an incredible, hands-on, thoughtful, loving father.
"We go out like once a week together and try and do something fun," she said. "We either go to dinnerwe're going to go bowling next week. It's weird scheduling so much because we used to do things on a whim and now we have to schedule. But it's good. It's really important for your relationship."
Hilary is enjoying her new life as a mom, but she is not ready to have another baby right away. Already balancing motherhood and her relationship, shes ready to go back in the studio to work on new music. Shell be meeting with producers and writers in the next week, which makes her so nervous.
"Obviously we want more kids but we want to really enjoy Luca, she said. I'm young. I still want to work and I feel like I have a lot to do."
