Hilary Duff is eagerly awaiting the arrival of her first child with husband Mike Comrie. At four months, the former Disney star, currently promoting her new book, is opening up about the new experience.

"I feel really good. It's been pretty easy, and I haven't gotten sick at all, and I don't have too many cravings," Duff told MTV News. But when she does have cravings they are very strange to the 24-year-old.

When I get something on my mind I want, I want it now, I'm ferocious," she told separately to Good Morning America. "I'm always up for red hots, which is so weird because I've never liked them before. Thank god it isn't fried and covered in butter."

But above the red hot cravings she says pregnancy is a very different experience than anything.

It's so different. It's literally like an alien has taken over your body. One day I'll have a good day, and one day I'll have a bad day, and it kinda goes like that, she said.

She admits, though, being pregnant could get boring at times. She is, however, eagerly awaiting big news which keeps it exciting.

"I can already find out [the sex of my baby], but I want my mom and my sister to be there, but they've both been out of town, she told MTV News. When they are both in the same city and we're all there, then we'll find out," Duff said.

"I'm going crazy! she says of up until that time. Pregnancy is kind of boring. There's not too much you can do, so those dates are very important to you, so you count down."

Until then, Duff will have to play the guessing game, but she has an idea of what shes having.

"Everyone else says it's a girl, but I think it's ! a boy," Duff said. "I'd be happy with a girl, but my sister's like, 'You can't keep saying that, because then when it's a girl, everyone's gonna think you really wanted a boy.' I don't care what I get, but every time I think about it or dream about it, I see a boy."

Boy or girl, Duff says shes still thinking about a name.

"If we give the baby kind of a unique name, we need to give it a normal middle name in case it hates it or maybe we just need to go totally traditional," Duff added. "There's so much to think about!"
