Hilary Duff Hilary Duff rocked a 1960s inspired 'do at the signing of her book Devoted. Her half up, half down style was accented with a spiky black headband.

To recreate Hilary's look, begin by backcombing hair through the crown. Also, spritzing on a product like Fekkai Coiff Bouffant Lifting & Texturizing Spray Gel will help create additional volume and hold. Next, make a center part and sweep back the section of hair from the top of the head to above the ears. Secure tresses into a ponytail at the back of the head, maintaining as much volume through the crown as possible. With the hair left loose, add a few waves with a large-barreled curling iron. The final touch is the addition of a cool head band.

We've spotted other celebrities with a similar look, including Christina Aguilera, Julianne Hough, and Elizabeth Banks. Check out all 39 pictures in the Retro Hairstyle Lookbook.
